Citroën's HDi (High Pressure Diesel Injection) engines use common rail technology, where a single rail feeds the injectors at very high pressure. This electronically controlled system optimises the fuel-air mixture in all weather conditions, significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
